“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Encouragement
The Apostle Paul knew the capability of the Ephesian church. It was already the crowning jewel of Asia Minor. The book of Ephesians was not written for the purposes of correction of the church as much as it was to direct the church to her potential. Paul knew the power that was available to the church and that if they would allow that power to be released. It would be an abundance that would create influence for the church!
Apply God’s Word
As you go through your day today, keep in mind what you are capable of doing. Recognizing the power God has invested in you can change the entire destiny of a generation. Knowing God's Word for any situation will radically change the surroundings wherever you are. Just as the centurion from Matthew 8. He knew the power of Jesus’ Words. We can use His Words when facing difficulty and the results will be vastly different as well. Speak His Words and make a difference.
Come into His Presence
Father, today I want to make a difference. The world is looking for the real thing, and it’s in me. The hope for everyone I come in contact with today is in my willingness to surrender to Your Words and not mine. I chose to only speak Your Words today. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.
