In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth with mankind in mind. He created Adam, and breathed life into him, then created Eve as his companion. Adam and Eve were placed in a "beautiful garden." He provided everything that they needed to survive in this garden, and He spent time walking with them, and talking with them. The Lord gave them dominion over all that He provided. This is what we were originally created for. Even though things have changed by the deception of the devil and the fall of Adam, through belief in Christ we still can have this today! Of course, the devil doesn't want you to know this, so he places things in our lives to challenge us and cause us to have to seek after God. We have to work harder to walk and talk with God, and to see things through the eyes of Christ.
Take Action!
We can still have our Garden of Paradise experiences here on earth. We need to be spiritually filled, and have a spiritual mindset by silencing our carnal selves down and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to us and walk with us as He reveals the splendor of Gods creations. The birds singing on a bright sunny morning, the smell of a soft spring rain, the rainbow in the sky, the misty fog on a cool fall morning, the sounds of a babbling brook, the majesty of a mountain, the sound of the waves on a shoreline, the the sparkle of ice collecting on the trees, the beauty of the new fallen snow, the splendor of a sunrise or sunset, a newborn baby, etc. These are the creations of God that He provides for us to enjoy if we would only slow our pace and take the time to.
Come into His Presence
Lord, sometimes it doesn't seem like we live in a place that you created, but if we look and listen, Your goodness abounds in many ways. Help us to calm our minds, strengthen our bodies, and bring peace to our lives by allowing ourselves to have our Garden of Paradise experiences right here and right now. Encourage us and give us hope for our future in eternity with You. Help us to experience Your presence and all You have created from the beginning with us in mind. We believe that greater things are yet to come. In Jesus' name... AMEN!
